Gorilla Moves ("we", "us", "our") is a professional moving company based in Abbotsford, British Columbia, serving the Fraser Valley and Lower Mainland. This policy explains how we handle personal information in accordance with British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and Canada's federal privacy law (PIPEDA).

2. Information We Collect
When you request a quote, contact us, or book a move, we collect the details you provide — such as your name, email address, phone number, moving origin and destination, move date, property size, and any notes about your move.
We also automatically collect limited technical information (such as pages visited and general location) through analytics cookies, but only after you consent.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to prepare and deliver moving quotes, respond to your enquiries, schedule and carry out your move, and follow up about a request you started with us. We do not sell your personal information to anyone.
4. Cookies & Analytics
Our website uses cookies to remember your preferences and to understand how visitors use the site through Google Analytics. Analytics cookies are disabled by default and only load if you select "Accept" on our cookie banner. You can decline at any time, and you can clear cookies through your browser settings.
We use Google Consent Mode, which means no analytics storage is used until you give consent.
5. Email Communications
If you start a quote request and provide your email, we may send you a confirmation and — where you have asked us to — a single reminder to help you complete your request. Every commercial email we send includes a clear way to unsubscribe, in line with Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). We will never add you to unrelated marketing lists without your consent.
6. How We Protect Your Information
We store enquiry details securely and limit access to team members who need it to serve you. While no online transmission is ever 100% secure, we take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from loss, misuse, or unauthorized access.
7. Your Rights
You may request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. To make a request, email Silverback@gorillamoves.ca and we will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date above reflects the latest revision. Significant changes will be posted on this page.
